Brian is the founder and CEO of Peerless Media. He has 30 years of experience in B2B publishing; 27 of which are in the logistics, supply chain and materials handling markets. Brian’s vision when launching Peerless was to create a unique media company for the new digital era in publishing, offering both the traditional print and online B2B products, while adopting new digital services such as market intelligence, SEO enhancement, behavioral targeting and content engagement. His goal was for Peerless to become a full-service media partner to their clients.
Mike Levans, Group Editorial Director
Michael Levans is Group Editorial Director of Peerless Media’s Supply Chain Group of publications and websites including Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management Review, Modern Materials Handling, and Material Handling Product News. He’s a 24-year publishing veteran who started out at the Pittsburgh Press as a business reporter and has spent the last 18 years leading editorial and art departments for some of the nation’s top B2B publishing houses. During that time, Levans has overseen the successful launch of several new B2B titles and developed a series of live and online events that have helped readers better engage with editorial staff and thought-leading market sources.
Bob Treblecock, Editor-in-chief
Bob Trebilcock grew up in the materials handling industry, working in his family’s industrial packaging business. He has been a writer and editor for consumer and trade publications for more than thirty years.
As a consumer, personal finance and health reporter, his work has appeared in magazines as diverse the Boston Globe Sunday Magazine, Reader’s Digest, Good Housekeeping, Prevention, and MoneyWatch, the personal finance website of CBS News. As a trade magazine writer and editor, he has written about issues related to diversity in the workplace and marketplace for Diversity Inc.
Charles Tanner, Director of Email Marketing
Charles Tanner has over 20 years of experience in B2B audience marketing working for CMP Publications, Cahners, Reed Business Information and Peerless Media since the company was formed in May 2010. In total, Charles has managed the audience marketing efforts for the Peerless Media brands for over 12 years. In his position as Director of Audience Marketing, he develops and manages our targeted audience of 250,000 supply chain and materials handling professionals reached through print, email and our websites.
Clive Purchase, Director of Web Operations
Clive Purchase has 25 years of hands-on experience in digital publishing; 15 of which were in product development and sales with hi-tech companies evolving electronic software solutions for the global publishing markets. In 1992 his company, Production Management Technologies, was awarded the prestigious Seybold Award for Excellence for their content management system developed under license for Siemens and Linotype. In 1995 he was recruited by Cahners Publishing to facilitate the development and deployment of Manufacturing Marketplace and the launch of over 25 B2B magazine Web sites. He then spent 4 years developing online strategies for online publishers before joining Reed Business Information’s Supply Chain Group.
Judd Aschenbrand, Director of Research
Judd Aschenbrand draws from 35 years of experience applying quantitative and qualitative market research techniques in both B2B and B2C markets. He has designed and managed projects across a spectrum of corporate, management and technical audiences in market segments ranging from information technology to supply chain to media.
Judd began his career working on the supplier side conducting research programs for clients in consumer goods, financial services, advertising and communications, and media.
